Siem Reap (Beng Mealea & Koh Ker)
Itinerary
Today you will leave Siem Reap behind you and venture north to discover the two temples of Beng Mealea and Koh Ker. Both temples are a little more remote, with Beng Mealea showing the visitor the true power of nature, as the jungle has almost retaken the temple. Koh Ker itself is unlike any other temple in Cambodia and is more Mayan than Khmer with its 7 tiers. Both temples are truly breath-taking and are a lot less crowded than the main Angkor temple complex; giving you more time to yourself and contemplation as well as better photo opportunities.
On this day tour lunch will be taken in a local Cambodian restaurant next to Koh Ker temple (lunch is on client own account).
